our client had a deck that was in disrepair after a 15 year long battle with harsh summers and bitter winters that were further exacerbated by moister pooling around the outdoor water feature. After pulling up the old deck, we quite unfortunately, did not find any treasure maps or enchanted skeletons that we were convinced would be there. HOWEVER!... The bearers were still in fantastic condition! Meaning all we had to do was replace the joists and Marabou decking boards, saving our client valuable $dollars that could be better spent on building a pirate ship, or groceries.
careful consideration was taken when the new moulding surrounding the water feature was designed. Proper air flow to mitigate moisture absorption and access points for ease of maintenance, were balanced with our clients preferences for functionality in their entertainment area.
